Reservation Scheme

22.5% seats will be kept reserved for Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe Candidates and 5% for children of officers and men of the named forces killed or disabled in action during war from 1947-48 onwards. These candidates will be registered at the University of Delhi in the first instance and then they may seek admission to the College on the production of provisional admission slips issued by the University

Reservation Under OBC Category

Admission of the candidates under reservation for OBC category shall be offered according to the rules laid down by the ministry of Human Resource Development / University of Delhi. The OBC status of the candidates would be determined on the basis of the Central list of OBCs notified by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment on the recommendations of the National Commission for Backward Classes available at the website of the Commission. Sports Quota

5% of the total number of seats, both in Honours and Pass Courses, will be reserved for admission on the basis of performance in various sports. The date of submission of forms and the date for screening/interview and trial for such candidates will be notified on the notice board in due course of time.

Admission of Girl Students

Relaxation of marks upto 5%* will be granted to the girl candidate for admission to various courses in the College.

Concession for Blind Candidates

Relaxation of marks upto 5% will be granted while determining the eligibility of the blind candidates for admission to various courses in the College.

Procedure for Admission of Physically Handicapped Candidates.

The Physically Handicapped Candidates will be given weightage/concession, as the case may require, upto 10%* for placement in the merit list for admission to various courses.
The candidates will be registered by the College and thereafter their applications will be forwarded to the Chief Medical Officer WUS Health Centre (Main Campus). Such candidates are advised to write "Physically Handicapped" on the top of their application forms in BOLD LEITERS.

Procedure for Admission

Students seeking admission to the various courses may apply to the College on the prescribed form. Applications will be received in the office upto Monday June 16,2009.

The cut-off percentage list on the basis of applications received by the College and the number of seats available, will be put on the notice Board as per phased programme given on the back of the cover page of this booklet.

*Subject to eligibility of minimum requirement for that course.
No Interview Letter will be issued.
No Direct Admission is permissible to the IInd Year of B.A. (Programme), B.Com. BA (Hons.)/ B.Com (Hons.) Courses.
