Eligibility Conditions for Admissions:

Age Requirements : There is no minimum age bar for admission.


- Notwithstanding, anything contained in any other Ordinance no person, who has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude, shall be admitted to a course of study or permitted to take any examination of the University until a period of two years has elapsed from the date of expiry of the sentence imposed on him or her.

the Hindi Honours Course.

Candidates who have passed the

intermediate Examination of an

Indian University/Board with at

least 40% marks in the aggregate

and also have passed 'Prabhakar'

examination shall be eligible for

admission to the Hindi Honours Course.

Senior School Certificate (12 years) Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

Note :   Students passing 11 years schooling examinations will not be eligible for admission in any undergraduate course in the university.

Reservation Scheme

22.5% seats will be kept reserved for Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribe Candidates.

Reservation Under OBC Category

Admission of the candidates under reservation for OBC category shall be offered according to the rules laid down by the ministry of Human Resource Development / University of Delhi. The OBC status of the candidates would be determined on the basis of the Central list of OBCs notified by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment on the recommendations of the National Commission for Backward Classes available at the website of the Commission as below :


The eligible SC/ST, OBC, PwD students etc. should submit their scholarship form for the academic year by February for processing scholarship to SC/ST, OBC, PwD etc. each year. This may also be incorporated in the University website.


Sports Quota


5% of the total number of seats, will be reserved for admission on the basis of performance in various sports. The date of submission of forms and the date for trials for such candidates have been notified on the college notice board as well as on the college website.


Admission of Girl Candidates

Relaxation of 3% marks in aggregate only will be granted to the girl candidates for admission to various courses in the


Concession for Physically Handicapped Candidates

The Physically Handicapped Candidates will be given weightage / concession, as the case may require, up to 3% for placement in the merit list for admission to various courses.

Procedure for Admission


The Cut-off percentage list will be put on the College Website ( & Notice Board as per phased programme given on the back of the cover page of this booklet.


I.       Procedure for calculation of 'Best of Four' subject percentage for Honours Courses (For admission to Arts/Humanities Courses) :

a.  One Language (Core / Elective / Functional)

b.  The subject in which admission is sought (If a candidate does not include the concerned subject whether studied or not in Best of Four in which he/she is seeking admission in the honours course, then a disadvantage of 2.5% may be imposed on the calculated Best of Four percengage).

c.   Any two other academic/elective subjects as per List A. (If a candidate doesn't include the subject given in


List A in Best of Four, then a disadvantage of 2.5% in Best of Four for each subject may be imposed).

List A

The following Discipline subjects offered by the University of Delhi for admission to undergraduate courses must be treated as Academic/Elective subjects for the purpose of undergraduate admissions. All other subjects offered by different boards may be treated as non-elective. All the Discipline subjects must have at least a 70% component of theory exams (theory exam does not include internal assessment/continuous evaluation etc.) in the qualifying exam for the purpose of being treated as academic/elective subject.

1.       *Accountancy will be treated as equivalent to Commerce wherever any board is not offering commerce as a subject.

2.      Biology/Biotechnology and Business Studies will be treated as academic/elective subject.

3.      #Music, and #Physical Education will be treated as academic/elective only for Honours in Music and Physical

Education, respectively.

4.       In case a candidate has studied both elective and core in any languages, then core language will be treated as language, while elective language can be considered as academic/elective subject.

5.       The subject 'Informatics Practices' will be equivalent to Computer Science for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science only.

6.      The candidates must have studied and passed Mathematics at the qualifying exam for admission to B.Com


7.       (a)        For admission to Honours in any language course, advantage of 2% in the Best of Four percentage may be given to those candidates who have studied the elective language.

(b)      In case, a candidate has not studied the language at qualifying exam and is seeking admission to

Honours in that langage, he/she may be given a disadvantage of 5% in Best of Four percentage.

(c)         For admission to Honours in English and Hindi, the candidate must have studied and passed the respective language in the qualifying exam and has to be included for calculation of Best of Four percentage.

8.      University may define any other relevant subjects as academic / elective for a particular Honours course.


II.    Procedure for calculation of 'Best of Four' subject percentage for B.A. (Prog.) / B.Com (Prog.) :

a.        One Language (Core / Elective / Functional)

b.          Any three elective subject can be chosen. A disadvantage of upto 5%* on Best of Four percentage may be imposed if there is a change of stream.

*The actual % of deduction will be notified letter on.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission

Candidates who are selected for admission after the first screening will be required to submit the following documents along with duly filled in admission forms:-

a.      A copy of University Common Pre-Admission Form (duly stamped in original)/Computer Print in case of


b.     A University Provisional Slip in case of admission of wards of Kashmiri Migrants, Foreign Nationals, Children of

Armed Forces etc.

c.      Five recent Passport size photographs of the candidate.

d.     Class Xth Board Exam Certificate (Date of Birth) (Two Self-Attested Copies)

e.      Class Xth Mark-Sheet (Two Self-Attested Copies)

f.       Class XIIth Provisional Certificate/Passing Certificate. (Two Self-Attested Copies)

g.      Class XIIth Mark-Sheet (Two Self-Attested Copies)

h.     Character Certificate (Recent) (Two Self-Attested Copies)

i.       OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC/ST Certificate in the name of the Candidate (Four Self-Attested Copies) j.       Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate from outside Delhi Candidates (Two Self-Attested Copies) k.      Anti-Ragging Undertaking (Refer to Annexure I & II) by the Student and by the Parent (in original)

l.       All original of the above said documents.

m.      Certificate for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH on prescribed formats (given on the College website  Appendix-2,  Appendix-1,  Disability  Certificates  Form-II/Form-III/  Form-IV  as  applicable)  and issued by the Competent Authority (given on the college website Appendix-3, Appendix-4, Medical Authorities notified for issue of Disability Certificate Appendix-6) only will be accepted.

n.       In addition to the OBC Certificate on the prescribed format, the OBC Candidates are required to submit the prescribed form of declaration given on our college website (Appendix-5).

o.       The students/applicants shall submit self-attested declarations/undertakings, wherever necessary, on prescribed formats. However, they will produce any one of the following documents, in original, as a proof of identity at the time of submitting self-attested declarations/undertakings along with a self-attested copy thereof: 1) Voter ID Card        2)  Aadhaar Card 3) Driving License 4) PAN Card 5) Passport

Note :


(i)           It is made clear that if any false attestation / falsified records are detected, the student will be debarred from attending any course in the University  or its college(s) for next fivyears and in addition, a criminal case under relevant section of IPC (viz. 470, 471, 472, 474 IPC etc.) will be instituted against him/her.

(ii)     Candidates whose results were not declared within the prescribed date and who are unable to comply with the requirements of the University in respect of the submission of Provisional Certificate and the detailed mark sheets etc, will not be considered eligible even for Provisional Admission.

(iii)   Rounding off the fraction of the percentage of marks is not permissible for admission to any course.

(iv)    The college reserves the right to consider candidates for admission on the basis of current cut-off lists only, and not those who were eligible in previous cut-off lists. However, the candidates who could not take admission in a cut-off list could be considered for admission in the immediate next list only on the last date of admission provided seats are available in the college/course.

Admission is subject to approval of the University of Delhi.


The college reserves the right to refuse admission to any student without assigning any reason.




Payment of Fees:-

The Payment of Fees will be accepted ONLY through ONLINE.



  1. The Students/Candidates can pay their fees through the following mode of Online Payment:-


a. Net Banking through any bank.


c. Through Challan (Any SBI Branch) (Other Payment Modes)


· After getting the receipt of Application Form for Admission, the Students/Candidates will visit our College Website ( after 2 hours from their receiving the receipt of Application Form and click the ONLINE FEE PAYMENT option. For the payment of fees they will have to use the Application Form Number and their date of birth as User ID or Logon ID. If any Student/Candidate is making payment through challan (Other Payment Modes), he/she can deposit the cash at any branch of SBI.


2. The Provisional Admission of the Students/Candidates, who fail to pay their fees by the prescribed date, will be invalid.
